These three photos shows the simplicity of solid American design. A dovetail drawer box can be disassembled. At that point the damaged and no longer straight bottom can be cut off. Replacing the destroyed portion with original stock. The box reassembled for a straight and smooth drawer function. In most cases the mating slide surface inside the cabinet will also require replacement. Once the repair is complete the function is as a new piece of furniture.
